7:10 am	Our strays are... ...rabbits!!! Yep.  We have "wild" rabbits in these parts. I noticed some sweet little animal prints in the snow the past few times we've had it.  No human prints to go with them so I figured it was some sort of wild beast for sure.  Heh... They're little rabbit prints. I've been watching them out in the street and in the yard across from ours this morning.  They're cute little things. And I just threw out some baby carrots for them.  They just stared.  Frozen. By them time I got back in and upstairs, they were out nibbling on the carrots. This will be our new thing. 10:20 am	FYI on change of "Friends List" Hey y'all...   Sometime last week I posted about scaling back at LJ since I'd mostly be writing about the whirlwind of activities currently going on.  I asked people to comment if they wanted to stay.  No hard feelings if they didn't.  After all, it's not always terribly interesting to read about someone else's crazy-making stuff. I removed those who never responded after about a week.  A few have contacted me asking why I took them off. I feel bad when that happens; I just assumed that *sometime* within a week folks would see that and either respond or not.  If they didn't respond, I assumed they were okay with dropping off. Feel free to send me a message if you have a question/concern.  I didn't set out to slight anyone.  I thought that would be an efficient way to make the change.  (12 Comments |Comment on this)

6:15 am	Houston; December 26, 2006 I love both of these kids....but that boy....oh man. He and I really connected this year during my visit, and a new love affair has begun.
